Product Overview

Returning your commercial and agricultural hoses safely to their reels provides greater longevity and use from your hoses. To ensure an even, proper hose coil every time, install a new Hannay _hp motor onto your reel. The low-torque motor provides slow, even rotation, avoiding snags and tangles when replacing the hose in the reel. The motor puts out 12 volts and is a lightweight at just 27 lbs.
1/2 hp reel motors are used for 3/4" or 1" ID hose.

Perfect upgrade!

I purchased this 1/2 HP motor as an upgrade after the failure of one of our 1/3 HP motors on a Hannay reel used in the fire service. Save the mounting bracket from the 1/3 HP motor to use as shim between the reel and the new motor, upgrade the wiring as needed, it's nothing but awesome! Three more of these conversions coming up soon.
